Welcome to my home on the Web! I’m excited to have a place to share with readers and hope that you’ll enjoy your visit. I’ve been writing forever and now I have not one book, but four. The highly anticipated sequel to An Inconvenient Friend titled What Kind of Fool, released on January 31, 2012.
Secrets and Lies and An Inconvenient Friend were well received. I have excellent reviews from readers like you and emails come in daily that really bless my soul. And I’ve also received several honors. An Inconvenient Friend and A Woman’s Revenge were both nominated for an African-American Literary Award. I was selected as a 2010 Pink Diamond Honoree by SistahFriend’s Bookclub (one of the largest African-American book clubs in the country). I won an EMMA Award (Romance Slam Jam Organization) for Favorite Debut Author 2010. Both my novels were listed in the OOSA Online Book Club’s Best Reads for 2009 and 2010 and Christian Fiction Blog’s Top Twenty Best African-American Christian Fiction for 2009 and 2010. Oh, I almost forgot – I’m a bestseller too. An Inconvenient Friend made Black Expressions Top 20 Bestseller List. It’s been an exciting year!
I’m continuing to write and promote my novels, but I’ve also thrown my hat in the ring with two other awesome authors to independently publish an anthology project titled A Woman’s Revenge. A Woman’s Revenge is a great collection of novella length stories about three women who want…you guessed it…REVENGE! It has also been receiving rave reviews from readers.
